Sugar Creek Country Club made its legendary debut in 1972 as one of Houston’s premier member-owned country clubs. The Club was established as a member-owned club where the membership experience has always been the top priority. The club founders commissioned legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. to design and construct a championship golf course unparalleled in the region. Trent Jones stated his vision for Sugar Creek was to "challenge the most talented players, yet provide a course to be enjoyed by the member's family as well." His vision is reflected in the three 9-hole courses that are aptly named Robert, Trent and Jones.
Traditional country club amenities include the Trent Jones-designed 27-hole golf course, golf practice facilities, 8 lighted tennis courts, pickleball, a family-style pool, fitness center and Creek Kids Club. The Georgian-style Clubhouse provides casual and upscale dining, ample outdoor patio space with fire pits, a full-service bar, Men's and Ladies' Locker Rooms along with an elegant ballroom and meeting facilities.
